A variety of services
are available at the Circulation Desk. It is located on the
first floor just facing the entrance. This is where most circulating
materials are checked out.
Locating Books in the Library
Books are arranged on the shelves according to the Library of Congress Classification System. Users may locate books in the library by looking for the exact call numbers of the book desired. Books in the general collection with call numbers beginning with the letters “A” through “G” are located on the second floor reading area. Letters “H” through “Z” are located in the book stacks. Top
Location Symbols
A word or letter symbol above the call number indicates the location of a book or other library materials. The OPAC also gives the location. Books in General COLLECTION have no location at the beginning of the call number.
